Year 8: Vegetable &
Noodle Stir Fry |

Ingredients: ·
2 nests or 100g medium egg noodle ·
1 tablespoon vegetable oil ·
2cm piece fresh ginger, finely chopped. ·
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped ·
1 carrot, cut into matchsticks ·
2 spring onions ·
2 tablespoon soy sauce ·
1 teaspoon sesame oil |
You can choose other vegetables, but make sure all the vegetables are prepared before you start cooking |

Method: 1.
Cook the
noodles according to pack instructions. 2.
Wash, peel and
prepare your vegetables. 3.
Meanwhile, heat
the oil in a wok or large frying pan, then stir-fry the ginger, garlic and
onion for 1-2 minutes. Add carrot, peppers and leek, (plus any other
vegetables) over a high heat for 2-3 minutes. 4.
Drain the
noodles thoroughly, add to the pan with the vegetables and stir-fry for 2
minutes. 5.
Mix together
the soy sauce and sesame oil and stir into the pan. Serve immediately. |
